Booked last year for a family holiday (11 people) paid a deposit , randomly came on to have a look to see the villa had been took down. Contacted Vrbo couldn’t get hold of host as incorrect number, they were unsure of why this has happened! If I hadn’t noticed we would have paid the remaining gone there to no villa! They are a company who should be making checks and updating customers with issues like we have had. So now we have luckily found another villa (smaller and less facilities more expensive ) to suit our dates as already booked the flights when booked the first let down villa. We could of lost a lot of money and had 11 adults/children very disappointed travelling all that way not knowing it was a scam!!! Shocking from Vrbo who also appear to not have a complaints department , speaking on the phone to a member of staff who didn’t even know what a complaints department is..…..
