08/18/2023 TRAVOPORT (TRAVOPORT.COM) sells standby tickets on sold out flights! I found this website on CHEAP FLIGHTS and Not to be confused with TRAVELPORT After purchasing my ticket I received a call stating that this flight was sold out and has no seats available. They stated this is now a “standby ticket”. My confirmation did not state anything about a STANDBY TICKET.
I asked for a refund and the man stated they will not refund my credit card. Watchout this is an unethical company and won’t refund your money. American Express is processing the credit on my account. I will also reach out to Cheap Flights to let them know this company is a scam and have many scam listing reports.
