I ordered a low value item that I did want but I had a gut feel TEMU might be a scam. Sure enough, from the outset they started sending me messages that if the item wasn’t delivered I would receive an additional credit of £5. And then surprise surprise the item wasn’t delivered, I received the £5 credit and my original payment was also converted into a credit, despite being referred to as a REFUND.This is sharp practice – I then had to go through several additional steps to request a real refund to my credit card. Let’s see how that goes now…
