Although I was quite sceptical to using services like Soundcampaign, I decided to give it a shot – more as an experiment, to see what happened, than as a real hope of getting more plays at Spotify.Basically, what you are being told that you pay for is that Spotify curators listen to your song, review it and then decide if they should add it to a playlist with thousands of listeners. After paying, I didn’t receive any feedback for 24 hours, but then suddenly 6 reviews turned up at once! Strange, as I could see that my song hadn’t been played more than a couple of times for the last day.The “reviews” were all were generic, complementing on the “chill mood”, “smooth vocals” and nice “guitar playing”, but not really refering to anything in the song at all, except for the title. Obviously not written by real people. Not surprisingly, they all ended with telling that the tune wasn’t really what they were looking for right now for their playlists, but encouraging me to continue with making music. So, my curiosity cost me about 80 dollars. Don’t let the same happen to you; Soundcampaign is a total scam.
