Opened a shop but due to my countries financial crash was unable to operate it for 2 years, requested it be put dormant instead was charged for 2 years full price. Our oversight missedthe payments (accepted this as our fault) but upon finally sorting this we discovered that had also been over charged every month due to an error on their side. They offered 30 USD credit as compensation on an 877 USD bill. accepted the problem was theirs but informed me no one at shopify was authorised to refund/credit more than 30 USD. no matter how much they had over charged! pretty scammy!
