I live in the Philippines. I was checking a charge from shipmentsfree.com from Los Angeles that my MasterCard had been charged on May 24, 2023. The Fraud Division of MasterCard found monthly charges to my account since January 2023 gradually increasingly larger sums totaling $106. I only use my MasterCard at a Pharmacy & Grocery Store in the Philippines. I was told by the Fraud Division, my card was compromised at one or the other of these businesses. Consequently this scam is internationally operated.
