Beware, these sellers are dealing in counterfeit sunglasses. They ask you to return the item to a non-existent address. Fortunately, I paid with PayPal, which opened a case and resolved it for me.
Here are some tips if you buy from them (I bought Tom Ford sunglasses):
- The TOM FORD logo on the lens should be clear and not have distorted characters.
- There should be a serial number on the inside of the arm by your ear.
- The Tom Ford plaque near the ear should be clear, with a space between “Tom” and “Ford.” The counterfeit ones didn’t have this.
- Verify the model number you receive by searching it on Google. The full model likely won’t exist and might look something like FT788 001A.
I took mine to Selfridges and compared them to genuine glasses, confirming with the staff that they were fake. Be cautious!
