I naively didn’t really question the legitimacy of sites supposedly dedicated to exposing scam websites, until now. However, after purchasing an item from a website that scam-detector.com gives a 100% rating (current as of date of review) and realising I’d been conned, I dug a little deeper on their site. The wording and language used on scam-detector should have made it obvious from the get go but I only scanned it the first time I went on there. I’m also pretty sure a lot of the positive reviews on trustpilot for this company are fake, as well as other sites that popped up during research.
