SCAM: Rentalcars did not coordinate rental with the agent in The Netherlands. I paid to Rentalcars full amount upfront, including the upgraded insurance. Allegedly, the other agent charged me double because they provided additional services. Rentalcars explanation reads: “When collecting your vehicle from one of our suppliers they will often offer additional products and services, these are all optional and are to be paid for at the location. These products and services are offered to enhance your rental experience and give you peace of mind.” No additional products or services were either requested or ordered. Instead, my booking with the payment I made with Rentalcars was not available/visible in the system of the other agent. Pure scam.
