Rentalcars

    We were delayed getting into the airport. Apparently the company that we were booked with (through Rentalcars.com) required that we arrive EXACTLY at the time we Hagan renting the car. We attempted to call the company (twice) without answer. We then called Rentalcars.com who informed us we had to be ‘on time’ for the booking. First, I don’t control the airlines. Second, I can’t call from the flight to tell them we’ll be late. Third, Rentalcars.com could also not reach the company they booked for us, and then refused to give us a refund unless we rebooked from their website and waited another 2 hours (since that’s the soonest their site allows for pick up after make the reservation.) We we’re already 2 hours behind at that point and didn’t want to sit at the airport for another 2 hours on our vacation. The representative refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor and refused to give any explanation about not being able to get I. Touch with this car company they do business with. Super frustrating and seems like a scam. Would NOT recommend AT ALL!!
