We have rented several times through rentalcars.com and have mixed experiences, but this was a total disappointment! We deliberately booked an automatic transmission car at premium price, and the booking showed and still shows automatic. But the rental voucher showed manual transmission, which should be less than half of the price! Helpdesk could only confirm that the booking showed manual transmission and recommended to cancel and rebook – only this would cost us extra 100-200 USD for a short rental! Total scam.
