I’ve made several orders of Adopt Me pets on this website from established sellers, and all were great experiences! But recently, I tried buying from an unrated buyer, and they attempted to scam me. They claimed they’d delivered the pets when we’d never met in the game, sent me a link to a “private server” that ended up being a wvv.roblox phishing website that would’ve stolen my account, then made a fake account that looked like mine and traded themselves to “prove” they’d delivered and steal my money! Luckily I was able to provide screenshots and other evidence to point out how they were lying, and PlayerAuctions protected me and refunded the full amount.In summary, dealing with new sellers may waste your time and force you into irritating arbitration (especially if their prices seem too good to be true!), but PlayerAuctions will protect you and your purchase. I’ll continue to use the site because they are trustworthy and protect both buyers and sellers. I do wish they’d stepped in sooner when the seller escalated to sending phishing links, but I understand that it’s hard to keep track of so many purchases, and I’m glad they have a way to get a refund when you need one.Thank you, PlayerAuctions!
