Big warning don’t use this car hire in Lyon! We got scammed out of €260 for a ‘scratch’ that was so tiny we didn’t see it when we initially collected the car. The staff said they had records of the car which say there isn’t a scratch. Our friends had hired a second car and OK Mobility tried to tell them that they had caused scratches on the car also (but larger). These scratches were there when we picked up the car and luckily we had taken videos on arrival to show their records were wrong. We had photos and videos of our car also which didn’t show our scratch because it was so tiny it was impossible to see or show up in photos.This on top of how we were dealt with when we arrived. We booked through Booking.com which said we could use Amex for the deposit in the T&C (we had these and showed them to OK Mobility). They don’t take Amex and said this is the fault of Booking.com, not them, and we had to pay for another driver to be added to the car in order to use their credit card to make a deposit. So another €40 out of pocket which we were fine to ignore until the scratch scam. Staff were incredibly rude apart from one guy who was defending the lack of scratch to the women who checked the car at the desk. (S/o to him for trying to have our corner!) The Manager, Arnauld, was also very rude and clearly makes money through getting people to claim on insurance / pay themselves. So dodgy!
