This is my second purchase from Lumenx. My first experience was better. I ordered my first lamp on April 21st 2023. I’m in the U.S. so a longer delivery time is understandable. At first I received the same email saying it was shipped but the tracking number remained in limbo for some time. The company sent me an additional unprompted email later regarding the long wait, with an explanation of the item being backordered at the time. The same email was reassuring me it was on it’s way on May 20th, and it was delivered in perfect condition on May 30th. Although it was a long wait at least it eventually arrived. I ordered my second lamp on July 1st and my “label created” tracking number email was sent on July 19th. As of now, August 27th, the tracking hasn’t changed from “label created” on FedEx’s site. There’s been no apology email explanation sent this round either.It seems as though the company offers more products online than they actually have on hand. I’m assuming they’re extremely behind based on not managing their website with accurate inventory numbers. I wish they’d just given me a “temporarily out of stock” prompt when trying to purchase. It’s the more honest route. It’s a cute enough lamp. I’d rather wait for a “back in stock” email over this frustrating limbo where I feel like I might be getting scammed. Due to having an okay experience the first time I still remain hopeful, but that hope dwindles daily.
