We were overcharged $58.81 for a room that should have been $144 per their website. Like many others, we thought we were dealing directly with the hotel, as our screen shots indicate. Once we received a confirmation email for $202.81, we called customer care from the communication we were sent. Again, still thinking we were dealing directly with the hotel. We called within ten minutes of booking the reservation online – well within their stated 30 minute window to cancel. They refused to cancel. After insisting they let us know if they were the hotel, the person on the line finally relented that they were not associated with the hotel. Luckily, we used our AmEx card and are in the process of disputing the charge. We will also make a full report to the BBB and FTC. This company is an outright fraud. They misrepresent themselves as a quality hotel brand when they are not. It is very frustrating that they are allowed to be in business.
