I booked a hotel, I believed directly with the hotel chain. I booked two rooms, upon completion of the reservation I realized I had selected the wrong location . I immediately cancelled the reservation within minutes, only to find out then that I had not booked thru the hotel but thru Get a room.com . I received an email confirming the cancellation but was charged the full amount as a cancellation fee. Called customer service three times and was told there was nothing they could do.Moral of the story is they stole my moneyPaid for a hotel I did not choose and they refuse to refund any amount , please stay away from this siteReceived a response from get a room basically just saying they would look into this No time frame and no one to communicate withWould like to speak with a person to resolve this total scam and have my funds returned
