Like many other reviews, we had the same experience- the site appeared to be Guest Reservations for the hotel but ended up being a US booking site I had never heard of. My credit card was charged before I had a chance to review or confirm the booking, with no cancellation and a 30% add on fee. In addition, the confirmation email came from “hotelvalues.com” so I don’t know who we were dealing with. I tried calling the customer service line but was put on hold for over 30 minutes. I then called the hotel to make sure we had a booking because I thought it was a scam but they did confirm we were booked, but said it was through Booking.com – which it absolutely was not. I often try to book directly with hotels but lesson learned – it is easy to be fooled by these sites. If I could give 0 stars it would be more than they deserve.
