Getaroom

    I would give a zero star if I could! That is how terrible the customer service is with getaroom.com. First off they trick you into booking through them when you think you are on the hotel’s website. I made a mistake on the reservation and booked it for one night instead of two. I called less than an hour later to add the extra night. They put me on a “brief two minute hold” which lasted more than 10 minutes. When they came back they said I couldn’t make any cancellations or modifications, that it was company policy. Why they had to place me on hold before telling me that is beyond me?!!? Then they said that I could book a second reservation for a one-night. When I asked if it would be a different room and I would have to change rooms…then changed to say no it would be the same room since it is a different night. When I told them how terrible this customer service is and that I would never book through them again. They quoted policy as if I intended to purchase through them in the first place. They asked if they could assist me with anything else as if they had assisted me thus far! Stay far away from anything getaroom.com or Priceline.com as they are partners. They are nothing but scam artists and will not provide any help to their customers at all!
