I am a guest speaker at a major institution. I booked a hotel, I believed, directly with the hotel, only to learn that Getaroom.com intercepted this reservation. Getaroom then quoted me one published cost and then added 600 of fees after I had confirmed my payment!!!! This is a fraudulent company and should be shut down. All authorities and credit card companies have been alerted accordingly.
