Gate-io is a scam…..they froze my investment account when I tried to withdraw the funds. They then said that I needed to pay them $12,000 in “taxes” in order to unfreeze my funds. Skeptically….I paid them the $12,200. However, they refused to unfreeze the funds and then demanded that I pay an additional 30% deposit of $20,000 in order to withdraw my funds. This is called extortion and blackmail. ABSOLUTELY do NOT trade on this platform under ANY circumstances…..they are scammers, liars, extortionists and will cheat you out of your hard earned money. I am in the process of securing legal remedies and will contact all media sources available to me to expose this international scam.Support Ticket # 89311024
