I had tried another service prior to Sunrise in Feb, and that very much gave me scam vibes and I cancelled pretty quickly with no issue. I had gotten so far as to get lab work ordered and done with this company, so I used that and submitted when I signed up for Sunrise. They approved me for Wegovy but still needed to go through the insurance prior authorization process. Which was kind of a pain, a lot of back and forth, missing info, etc. but the rep I was in comms with did a pretty good job keeping me posted. Finally heard back from insurance and they approved it, and it’s been pretty seamless ever since (besides the current shortage of certain doses). I think people just need to be a little more patient as EVERYONE wants to get on these meds right now, and if you don’t actually have any health issues related to obesity or being overweight, do not expect a Dr and certainly not insurance to approve it.
