TOTAL SCAM! Purchased a lifetime licence last year but have since upgraded my laptop. Logged into my account on the website and downloaded the software to my new laptop and spent 2 days working on a marketing video. When I came to export my first draft I was met with a pop up saying I could export with watermark or pay another $30! Even though I was logged in they allowed me to download and use an updated version without any warnings. I saved my project, reverted to the version I had paid for BUT despite using none of the new features they have made it so you cannot open the projects in any other version. Customer service would only allow me a 3 day trial with one export in the new version which would mean I would never be able to revisit my project in the future without paying more money. Asked for a manager to email me but that’s not happened. Even when using the older version a pop up appears saying download new version for free with again no warning you can’t export from it. Relying on people making the mistake they set you up to make so they can get more money out of you or lose days worth of work. AVOID!!!!!
