In conjunction with Etsy not properly vetting vendors, this and my own ignorance cost me over a thousand dollars by a scammer vendor. I still cannot find a way to even text Etsy about this. The scammer played their policies perfectly to avoid an automatic refund. I have had similar issues of sellers not shipping products on Ebay and Amazon, but they have effective customer service which promptly took care of the problem. It’s like Etsy is on autopilot, no one is home.
