The service is not a scam and it does work. They did unlock the old phone.But, the service was a difficult to set up and time-intensive. It required multiple emails and messages and the USB unlock service ran more than three-hours.And they unlocked the phone but were unable to restore cellular service. I will replace the SIM card to see if that is the issue.
