This is a scam. I was sent an email for a job I applied to and was sent to this site to do a ‘credit check’ on February 2 and was told I would be charged only $1. I completed this and reached out to the company for the ‘job’ and heard nothing else back. Next thing I get a notification from my credit card this morning that I am being charged $34.95 which I didn’t agree to. I indicated that I didn’t authorize the charge and reported it as fraud with the credit card company immediately. My credit card was cancelled. I sent an email to creditverify that this is based on a scam and asked for my account to be cancelled and I want a refund. I tried to call the toll free number and of course no one is available. So this is a new scam that it out there. I also reported the initial email I received that this is being done using a supposed job offer. This should be shut down immediately.
