I purchased an OSRS account back in march. I played this account for a week or two. the account kept getting blocked out and I had to request several times to get back in, which was a little sketchy. A little over a week ago, I purchased a 6 month membership while i was on vacation as I was bored at my resort and wanted to login, almost the week later, after returning back from vacation, I logged back in on my PC (which I bought about a week before buying this account) and only has OSRS and league of legends on it, the login wasn’t working. I contacted ChicksGold and was asked several times if I had attached the username to the jagex launcher. I denied these allegations as I have a lifetime insurance (why would I risk my insurance?). As with the others, I was told it will be a 48 hour wait to “possibly recover” my account. Clearly either the original owner of the account recovered it, or ChicksGold is trying to scam me out of the $700 I spent buying the account plus the $60 membership and the 15m I had on it (which I know isn’t much). I am going to keep my review up until the “investigation” finishes. If it does not finish within the next day, I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company for fraud.I was also not notified of a blacklist on the account and was told after purchasing that “I should have asked”.. The account had botting history on it with an unresolved temporary ban from 2022.update- no reply after filling information out and account was actually banned by jagex because it was sold several times
