I have used this site as both someone offering care, and hiring care. First: caregivers are required to get AND PAY FOR an expensive background check. And then if you’re looking to hire someone…you also have to pay to SEE the background check! and it’s not cheap! Not to mention the absolutely abysmal UX design. I don’t even know where to start, they need an entirely new website to fix all the issues. Nothing is intuitive, and it will keep showing you the same results without filtering ones you’ve already seen/ spoken to/ or rejected. You need to constantly open new windows since there are no ways to get from certain pages back to your messages and there’s not really a “home” screen. Super slow to load anything at all on the site, and it does all it can to make it hard to contact people outside of the website (which is slow and hard to use). It’s a real shame that something so important was messed up so badly. I wouldn’t even be so mad about the scammy double-charging for backgrounds and ridiculous cost for offering practically nothing if the site was actually functional and easy to use.
