We had a care.com account that somehow had an extra service added to it. This extra service was not listed on our account nor did we approve it (only a premium membership was approved and listed in our profile). Once the error was found we contacted care.com via messaging. They cancelled the account but would not talk to us further about the error. They did however confirm that we did not ave access to nor use the service but refused to reimburse the additional costs. They would not let us speak with a manager to further discuss or review. Care.com also just settled a 2020 suit in California for this same fraudulent service and knowingly adding on the service without consent to clients or informing them of the service and its auto renewal… while they inform you of auto renewal for the premium service they do not list or inform you of any add on services. Unfortunate for care.com since they agreed to remedy this when they settled their California suit.
