I have had the same experience as everyone else. As soon as I got onto the site, I regretted it and then tried to cancel etc. 5 months later and I have a letter asking me for payment in 3 days time. I’ve read all the reviews of cdate and eCollect so i can see now its a scam. I can’t seem to find though, any record of anyone having to pay. If you’ve trawled the thread looking for this reassurance as I did, it’s not there. I want to just ignore the letter but know they will send more. I just don’t want the stress of it all but there’s also no reassurance that once you’ve paid, they’ll stop. Is it worth their while pursuing overseas for such small amounts?I hope that people will post timeliness as to how long things have gone on. If there have been any instances of actual recovery of money through court action by eCollect. I am a left with doubt and worry. Hoping someone can post some reassuring facts.
