Booking.com does not have enough fraud detection built into their website or app. If someone hacks a hotel they can, through booking.com, send a notice and obtain by you replying ON THE BOOKING.COM APP AFTER ‘SECURE LOG ON’ your credit card details saying the hotel which you did book requires additional verification. THIS WAS THROUGH THE APP AND BOOKING.COM PORTAL!!! Unacceptable lack of security in their IT programs. The customer service person at booking.com on the phone was useless even though she clearly knew it was a scam. BOOKING.COM get it together – too many people trust you :(((((((
