Alerts4U is a scam. I scanned a QR code sent to me on a letter from Our Future Health (in Partenrship with NHS) asking me to to take part in health research. I emphasize Our Future Health is an honourable company working with the NHS but they are aware that some QR code scanners have been compromised by these fraudsters. I have reported this to Action Fraud.
