Agoda is totally misleading and fraudulent. Should’ve read the reviews. Customer service is utter bullshi* and their marketing is deceiving! Pls be aware and don’t make the same mistake as I did. Agoda hides things when trying to sell and then when problem arises upon customers arrival at hotel they don’t seem to help AT ALL. Some Money making scheme. Absolute time wasters and honestly very upsetting. They allure you with cheaper prices but hide what type of room it will be. The hotel gave us a NO WINDOW room n that too UNDERGROUND (was for 3 nights). Completely baffled because I have claustrophobia and this is something that was meant to be made clear on the websites. Spoke to staff n they said it’s Agodas mistake for hiding and there weren’t ready to give us a refund as well as agoda who gave no help in this situation and had me on call (several times) for over 3 hours. Kept cutting off changing people which meant repeating situation and don’t really call a supervisor when asked. Report these scammers pls.
