You should never have experience with the Agoda scammers that I had. I paid Agoda for a hotel right from a hotel and the hotel said I need to pay an extra $77. Agoda receipt was clear – all paid. I was driving 10 hours woth the 5 month old baby and was not expecting to hear that. Then, I call customer service. After 1,5 hours I received am email from Agoda that I can check in, and I don’t need to pay anything. I came to that hotel again and a representative ask me to pay an extra $77 again. I called several times to Agoda and they were playing game with me. Eventually, I booked another hotel and Agoda didn’t refund my money. It’s a clear false advertising, clear scam and I am suing Agoda now. They should stop their suspicious activity in the U.S. They will steal your money.
