I’ve had a new Acorns opened with a linked bank account from Chase. My (zero activity) account is now disabled and Acorns is asking for a bank statement and an unexpired federal ID to be emailed to customer service. I called their # a d am still being asked for this information. I don’t feel comfortable sending my personal information to access my funds and think this is a well planned scam.
