I made a booking for an apartment in Glasgow. The property manager was supposed to send a code for the premises however I did not see it. On arrival (Saturday 19th Nov at 4pm after an 8 hour drive) at the bungalow (Busby Apartments) we called the manager but no reply. They had a RING video camera outside and hoped they saw us and called us but that did not happen. We then called VRBO several times and they said they couldn’t contact Veena the property manager. They said she does not work weekends!!!We then had to check in to Holiday Inn nearby.When I called Veena she said her phone was out of order. I also found the credit card payment went to Eviivo Ltd, London I called them and they said Vrbo uses their payment software and to go to them.I was sent on a wild goose chase. No one accepted responsibility to refund me. Veena said she can refund only 20%. What a cheek.This whole thing is a scam. When a problem arises no one wants to know.
