TopCV is a complete scam, please don’t waste your money! I paid nearly £100 for the CV and covering letter service and it was shocking. The people writing the CV and letter clearly don’t speak English very well and it was littered with typos. They cut and pasted random bits of my CV into a so called “covering letter” which was two paragraphs of waffle and then three bullet points of one line each which didn’t make sense and were barely recognisable as my professional experience! The whole thing could apply to any role or industry, it certainly wasn’t personalised to me or the sector I work in (marketing). They also don’t have a refund policy – once you’ve signed up you can kiss goodbye to your money. How are they still legally allowed to advertise this?? I have no idea! Save your time and money and avoid TopCV like the plague!!
