They have a ridiculous verification process that feels incredibly invasive and scammy including taking pictures of your bank app and sending it to confirm you processed payment (which literally makes no sense), even though my bank says I am literally not supposed to do that for security reasons. Then they don’t share that info with the landlord so the landlord is requesting information from me like my passport number via an unsecure email address and also telling me I need to sign a separate “contract” from spot a home. The whole point of using a third party is to have everything done seemlessly and through a secure platform. They took 2600 out of my account immediately but offer no actual customer support or clarifications around this process. It is EXTREMELY misleading will never use again. Landlord is also reaching out to me on an unconfirmed email address with a name that is not listed as the landlord.Locked me out of my account not giving me access even after verifying all of my information and taking 2600 from my account this makes absolutely no sense.
