We rented an apartment that ended up being a scam (the apartment was uninhabitable). The only thing they did was give us our deposit back (but we lost one month’s rent). They did not help us get any additional money back and they didn’t do anything to the landlord. We sent them videos and images showing the apartment conditions were uninhabitable and the landlord threatening us if we sent some videos of the property. Now, 4 months after that, the property is still on the platform (it’s actually been rented for three months; poor things). Spotahome does not give you any kind of security and does not care for their customers’ safety and wellbeing.
