SCAM…AVOID….SCAM…AVOID….SCAM.FRAUDE with credit card. Initial booking payment 4 days ago was refused by rental cars.com, I tried again and again it was refused. Therefore booking(s) are not valid.Guess what….. 24 hours before before initial intended rental period suddenly both bookings are deducted from my credit card. No notice or authorisation for allowing to use an old credit card payment was provided. THAT IS NOT ALLOWED. Thus a scam, fraude, theft.Contacted rental cars.com. They stated that so short before the rental period the cancellation policy was in effect, meaning no refund at all and they intend to keep the double booked money.Thus rental cars.com STOLE twice the amount of a non existing rental.
