Paxful has it’s share of problems. Some i’ve only read about, but never experienced, and others that I’ve dealt with first hand. With that being said, the issues outweigh the upside to being apart of a platform like this. This platform was built for sharks. But it doesn’t mean you can’t thrive in the same waters. You just have to be careful. You’ll meet the best and worst of people on this app, but the good people easily outnumber the bad. If you decide to buy or sell here, be firm in your rules as best you can but still be willing to break them if the risk is small (like $10, small), but your chances of building a trading relationship, which happens more often than you think. And learn all the scams. Learn every new scam as well as the old. Understand the game. Most of the traders who get victimized on Paxful are the uninitiated. The naive. Don’t be scared, just be ready.Also, I removed a star because Paxful could and should be more creative about protecting both the buyers and the sellers on this site. Having an escrow system helps a ton, but it’s too easy for people to lose money here. And the wait times for a real person to investigate a dispute is brand damaging. No one should wait hours for a moderator to assess disputes
