I fell to the same scam and I totally get you. I lost way more than you did. We have created a group chat on telegram all the victims to see how we can support each other moving forward. You would be more than welcome to join. By the way, Orbitz has nothing to do with the scammers, it is impersonation. Before, they were pretending to be Hotels Combined. Personally, I contacted two independent anti-fraud agencies and signed a no win no fee contract. I would suggest go to your bank(s) first. Show them all the evidence. Then if they say no, go to a company. Also, go to the police/Action Fraud. They won’t do much but they will issue a crime reference number which will help.
