I had a similar experience to those mentioned in previous reviews. I thought I was booking direct with the hotel but subsequently discovered that I had used hotel value as an agent who also added booking fees. I needed a hotel for just one night as I had booked to go on a cruise the following day. I booked for one night but without giving me a chance to review the payment, I was debited for two nights. I managed to get hold of the agent who said I would have to get the agreement of the hotel to cancel the second night. I explained the situation on arrival at the hotel and they said that they would refund the second night if Hotel Value confirmed their agreement in writing to them. I contacted Hotel Value to ask them to do this but they have just ignored the request. Hoel Values are fraudsters and should be closed down.
