Wow! Like the other reviews state. I thought I was making a reservation directly with the Crowne Hotel in Santo Domingo. We were trying to get back to the US from Punta Cana in the DR when Hurricane Fiona was barreling through. Our flight canceled. Didn’t think we could get out unless we went through Santo Domingo and booked the hotel. Then a flight opened up that we could get out immediately. So called to cancel our reservation (again thinking it was with the hotel directly – realizng it wasn’t – of course, we couldn’t get through on any phone # provided). Additional fees – ridiculous. But more than that we were trying to work around a hurricane. We spent a couple of weeks of calling daily and getting nowhere. Of course, like the others, the reservation was canceled but no refund. Have a heart.. no refunds for people trying to work around a hurricane??? Seriously??? Fraud, bait and switch, scam, heartless. Call it what you want. Never again.
