I had a claim open with them for months, eventually British Airways transferred me directly. I confirmed with Flightright the amount refunded and asked how to go about transferring their commission. No response, for months. Then, I get an automated email telling me because BA had been unresponsive (they hadn’t because they’d paid me), they would initiate legal enforcement – adding a 14% surcharge to my bill.So eventually I get a bill from Flightright, invoicing me for legal enforcement which was automatically initiated on their side, completely unnecessarily, because they (decided?) to miss my emails. Furthermore, they charged me on the base of a refund amount of EUR 600 even though my claim was always in GBP (as was the ticket price) and BA refunded me GBP 517. Nearly 8 months later, they are chasing me to pay my invoice, adding all kinds of threats with every payment reminder. And every time I respond I say will happily pay within a day when they charge me on the basis of the correct refund amount and remove the legal enforcement surcharge. They never respond!Avoid!!! This stinks of scam, awful to try and rip people off like this.
