They tried to scam my elderly father out of 100 dollars. My dad called to cancel his hotel (which it said on the Expedia confirmation could be done for free until the night before the reservation) and the “customer service representative” tried to get his credit card number and stated that it will be 100 dollars to cancel it. He hung up and cancelled it for free online. Crooks.
