Scam company who were not forthcoming that their products were novelty products until they were exposed. Their website, which previously had no mention of this being a gag gift, has been altered to such an extent that the “titles” have the phrase “most hilarious gift of 2023🤣” beneath each pack since the time of purchase. Disgraceful business practices for a company based out of HK, with no connection to Scotland besides selling novelty land there. Kamikoto’s parent company also sells fraudulent Japanese steel knives under the brand “Kamikoto knives,” which sells their knives for +300$ when they are made with 420J2 steel. I guess nothing is above swindling their customers.My mom bought my father the $50 product for his birthday before it was exposed as a scam, and she’s furious. He’s very proud of his Scottish heritage and has had a really tough year between his business failing and struggling to find work at 60. He was heartbroken at the news that came out about his present. DON’T do business with this company or any business operated by it’s parent company Fail Ventures.
