I got a 7 day free-trial with CreditVerify and cancelled online, in the account settings of my CreditVerify account. I was then charged on 7th day after having thought my membership was successfully cancelled. I had to call every day for a week just to speak to a manager who was supposed to call back in 24-48 hours. Once I spoke with a supervisor, I was told that I was supposed to call in to cancel my membership. When I asked “Why is there no mention of that when I cancelled my membership through my account”, Susan said “it was in the terms and conditions. Very scammy company and clearly this scheme is how they keep the lights on.
