I was scammed out of 6 payments of £15, I traced it back to a moonpig offer of a free credit towards my next card, I was totally unaware I had signed up to anything, and in reality the “free” moonpig card was costing me £15 a month, I raised an online complaint through nat west and 2 days later the 6 payments were refunded to my account, a salutary tale reminding me to check my bank statement and remember nothing in life is free, the banks should shut this scam down.
