C-date is a scam. The profiles and their messages are obviously fake and automated. C-date advertises a dating service for one month free and cancel any time. However, although I cancelled my subscription multiple times, the system just ignores this. I got charged for the first month and the one after until I cancelled the subscription via my PayPal account. 6 months later I received emails, a text, and a letter asking me to pay the debt collecting agency eCollect a total of over £220. They are threatening to increase the amount I have to pay and are threatening me with court proceedings if I don’t pay them by the deadline which was only 2 days after receiving the letter. I don’t owe them any money and I will not pay them.
