American Income Life (ailife.com)

If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give for a rating. The interview process was very misleading. It took only three days from being contacted about a position to being hired (RED FLAG). I received a phone interview then participated in a virtual group interview. Turns out the “virtual interview” is a group webinar and all they talk about is residual income, company getaways, and how much you can potentially earn. The position I was offered was called Benefits Specialist. However, what you’re actually doing is sales and the role is 100% commission. The next thing I had to endure was to buy a training course and take the Ohio Life and Health Insurance exam (had to pay for that too). I failed three times after studying very hard. After calling my potential boss to tell him I’m quitting the onboarding process, he wished me the best, which I did appreciate. To be respectful, some people are cut out for working in a position like this one, but for people who are not interested in sales, STAY AWAY. Total scam. I would recommend this for those who are interested in sales and have no issue with 100% commission. In all, I wasted over two months going this. This is my side of the story.
